I achieved the HCC 2024 Best Thesis Award for developing our thesis, SSAM (Smart Soil Analysis and Monitoring System), and the HCC 2024 Programmer of the Year Award for leading the coding of our thesis, also SSAM.
Our thesis titled " A Smart Soil Analysis and Monitoring System for Local Farmers of Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija," in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office of LGU Santa Rosa, is a prototype system designed to monitor soil nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as moisture and temperature in real-time. We have also developed our own AI to analyze soil conditions based on sensor readings, providing farmers with plant and fertilizer recommendations. As the Fourth-Year Representative, I am committed to fulfilling the responsibilities assigned to me. These include representing our institution at various events, such as the 2024 HCC Hackathon, where I will serve as one of the panelists.
